Woman Arrested Following Alleged Medical Gas Sabotage at Multiple Sydney Medical Facilities
A female individual has been arrested after medical gas supplies reportedly tampered with at two metropolitan healthcare centers.

The Sutherland medical facility in the city's southern suburbs lost medical gases on Tuesday morning, requiring them to switch to portable oxygen and air as an emergency measure, according to medical authorities.
"The cause behind the disruption to gas systems appears to be deliberate sabotage," officials declared.
They further emphasized that "{To reportedly do this represents extreme recklessness. The potential for disastrous consequences."
Police Investigation
Law enforcement said they received reports of "suspected intentional damage at multiple medical facilities in the Caringbah area." Sources indicate that the other facility was a local private medical center.
Authorities claim a female in her forties gained access of a medical facility on Kareena Road at approximately 12:20 AM on Tuesday morning and "cut both the water and gas mains, before activating fire hoses."
They further alleged that at approximately 1:30 AM, "the suspect accessed the property of another hospital on the same street ... and allegedly deactivated the primary gas supply."
The individual was apprehended in Miranda at approximately 4 AM on Tuesday for breach of bail, according to police.
Hospital Response
Medical authorities confirmed that medical gas supplies were returned to operation by hospital teams and regional health authorities "within approximately two hours."
"I want to assure the community patient care was not affected to patient care and that the system has resumed normal operations according to standard procedures," authorities announced.
Officials further noted that "Access to gas systems in public medical facilities is restricted. We will review the incident to identify potential enhancements can be implemented."
Authorities disclosed that the woman allegedly scaled a wall at Sutherland hospital and entered to a secured zone.
